Want to Create Abundance in Your Life & Business? hint: you already have it….

It was one of those rare occasions when I had a free evening while hubs was watching play-off sports and I felt like I needed a mindful reset. Rather than numbing myself on social media or grabbing my laptop to get a few things done, I drew myself a bath, popped in my headphones, pulled the eye mask over my eyes and listened to a guided meditation on abundance. As I sat back in my bubbly heaven, I was led on a journey - a journey to explore my inner most thoughts about money, success, scarcity, and abundance. After doing some exploring of some old limiting beliefs I had about money and scarcity and breathing my way through letting those go, I was then led to visualize what abundance would look like. The perfect setting where I felt abundantly blessed in my life and in my business.

I visualized myself speaking at an event with a room full of powerful, inspiring women pursuing their dreams. I had just finished my keynote speech and was soaking in the room. As I looked around at all the faces, I felt a sense of comradery, joy, and inspiration. I felt like I BELONGED with such a sense of glow. I visualized what I was wearing, how I wore my hair, the glow of my skin. How I stood and held myself. I felt AMAZING. Not in a ‘I’ve made it - look at me’ kind of way; but moreso an ‘I can’t believe this is my LIFE - someone pinch me’ kind of way. I truly felt FREE. No inhibitions. No imposter syndrome. No trying to ‘fake it’. It just simply WAS and it felt so good!

One of the things that has really struck me lately is that in order to attract abundance and the kind of energy that filled that room in my visualization, I need to step into that person today. I need create the kind of joy and energy that I want in my life — right now. Not when I get the speaking gig. Not when I FEEL the part. But now. The thing I’m learning is this: You must emulate the type of energy you are looking to attract. Energy is active and alive! You want abundance in your life? You have to look around and SEE abundance in your life! Celebrate it. Be grateful for it. What you seek you will find!! You want more JOY in your life? Decide to BE joyful! Look for JOY everywhere! In the little things. In the things we tend to take for granted. Seek joy and you will find it!

You must emulate the type of energy you are looking to attract

When I look back on that visualization, I see the persona of a woman who is stepping fully into her power and using her voice and the gifts that God gave her to pour into and inspire others to do the same. I’ve been thinking a LOT about how to bring that persona to life. The reality is that it already IS. That persona is me. I just need to choose to put it ON. I just need to choose to LIVE it. Sounds so simple, right? Well - honestly, it really is!

So how do we LIVE it? We choose to. Every single day. We wake up and we see HER in the mirror. We make decisions like her. We choose to nourish like her. We choose to take care of ourselves in body, mind, and spirit — just like her. We dress like her. We nourish our minds like her. We build and nourish relationships like her.

Then we wake up the next day and we do it again. And again. And again. And sooner or later you start to see it……you ARE her. She has been right there all along!
